Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

While connected to internet

Open Saved Reading lists
Open article saved for offline
Observe article loads
Navigate back to reading lists
Turn off internet, or enter airplane mode
Open article again

What happens?:

Article does not load
Refreshing on saved reading lists will load the article

What should have happened instead?:

Article loads without having to refresh

Software version (on Special:Version page; skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):
2.7.50514-r-2024-12-11

However, I found this issue while testing T383950

I did not see the issue that is on T383950 for 2.7.50516-r-2025-01-14. Could you please share the steps you followed when you saw this issue. Were they the same as the steps mentioned in T383950.
