@Bachounda: We are planning to release Invitation Lists to Arabic Wikipedia. Is that okay? Are there any concerns?
@IZapico-WMF: We are planning to release Invitation Lists to Spanish Wikipedia. Is that okay? Are there any concerns?
Yes...
The release of invitation lists on Arabic Wikipedia is a long-awaited step. Launching it now, especially with all the ongoing events planning, is a great move. I believe it will help grow the community of organisers in arabic wiki. There are no immediate concerns, and I look forward to hearing feedback from the community.
This tool is already part of the community’s policy and was discussed at the WikiArabia conference. Many participants have asked to try it out, which shows its value.
I suggest to wait for the release of invitation lists to eswiki. Our Event Organizers policy does not include any reference to invitation lists, so I believe is preferable to wait while we define the best approach.
Okay, thank you, @Bachounda & @IZapico-WMF! I have updated the AC to exclude Spanish Wikipedia from the release.
Should invitation lists be enabled for affiliate wikis? I thought we said no. To clarify, we would be enabling the feature on:
And leaving it off on:
My question being about:
No for affiliate wikis, unless they request it in the future. I'll make that explicit in the criteria. Your current list is correct, which I can also add to the AC.
One note about Chinese Wikipedia: I want to give a heads up to @ZhaoFJx that we plan to release the Invitation Lists feature to the wiki, since it is another tool available in the CampaignEvents extension that could be useful to Chinese Wikipedia users. Any concern from your end?
@Shizhao @renjianbaitai @Ericliu1912 @Venuslui @SCP-2000 @ZhaoFJx: We're planning to release the Invitation list feature to ZH Wikipedia, since we're planning to release it to all wikis (with the CampaignEvents extension) that do not have it yet, unless they opt out of it or if we do not see a reason they would need it. We think it could be useful for ZH Wikipedia, but we wanted to confirm that there are no issues/concerns before releasing. Does this sound okay, or are there any concerns/objections? Thank you in advance!
Update - We will not enable on Chinese Wikipedia, as the community has first requested a call to discuss the feature first. If the community wants Invitation Lists after the call, we will have a separate release ticket.

I was able to see that Invitation lists are enabled now on Arabic wp, Indonesian wp, Italian wp, Malay wp, and Polish wp. I don't have organizer right on any besides Malay, but can see that it was enabled on each. Sending to product sign off.
