Closed, ResolvedPublic1 Estimated Story Points

Description

Background

As part of the ongoing Navigation refresh, we are standardizing the design of the headers throughout the app on iPhone and iPad, to standardize and allow room for upcoming features.

Requirements
  • Add access to profile onto Search view (ignore Tabs icon for now)
  • Update header design to match Figma
  • Must function on both iPhone and iPad
  • Must function in Landscape mode
  • Scroll behavior for iPhone
    • Status bar: Transparent (opacity: 95%) and blurred background
    • Scroll-down: Navigation and search bar disappears
    • Scroll-up: Reveals navigation and search bar
  • Scroll behavior for iPad
    • Status bar: Transparent (opacity: 95%) and blurred background
    • Scroll-down: Toolbar is sticky, Navigation and search bar disappears
    • Scroll-up: Reveals navigation and search bar
Eng Notes

Status bar transparent background already done on System Nav bar PR
Scroll down and scroll up behavior already done on System Nav bar PR (besides toolbar being sticky on iPad. That functionality is covered in T383839).

Hi @scblr, we have a question on the "Clear" button here:

The mocks say we should move the Clear button for recently searched terms to the navigation bar (makes sense, matches with History). When History eventually moves into the Search tab, would we need to move it back? The search bar focused state (which will be the only time we see recently searched terms) hides the navigation bar, so maybe it's best if we leave the "Clear" button where it's at now.

@Tsevener — yeah, that makes sense for now. Once the two merge, the Clear for History should move into the navigation bar, though.
