Wikipedia android app links Q ID to Wikipedia instead of Wikidata

Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • Using the Wikipedia android app, go to the lbwiki article "Jean Majerus (1904)".
  • Click "Edit article description", type "lëtzebuergesche Vëlossportler" into the field "Article description" and click on "Publish".
  • A message pops up saying that the item "Q261130" already has the same label and description for lb (see screenshot)

What happens?:
Clicking on the link "Q261130" leads to https://lb.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q261130.

What should have happened instead?:
Clicking on the link "Q261130" should lead to https://m.wikidata.org/wiki/Q261130.

Software version (on Special:Version page; skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):
Wikipedia android app version 2.7.50515-r-2024-12-16
