Following the joint Design-Design Research session at the November 2024 offsite, designers highlighted challenges and needs related to recruiting participants for research and testing, particularly for their unique audiences, as well as difficulties in accessing recruitment tools. To address these concerns, I plan to hold individual conversations with designers to assess their specific needs, explain what resources are already available, and how designers can gain access to those resources. Based on the needs and challenges surfaced in these conversations, I will collaborate with Nico to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities for improvement.

• Meet with Nico to discuss his view of the needs present for the team
• Meet with designers individually (note that initially Nico and I discussed going to Design Review meetings, but currently I cannot make the meeting time and I think I will get more out of individual conversations)
• Summarize insights from conversations
• Work with Nico to prioritize needs
• Communicate with Design and Research leadership and receive feedback
• Iterate and communicate the priorities to the relevant people/teams, in coordination with the management of the teams.
• Address high priority needs (possibly separate tasks)
