User stories:
As a member of a WikiProject, I want to be able to add a calendar of events that are related to the topical area of the WikiProject, so that people can find more ways to contribute to articles in the topic of the project.
As an editor of a wiki (who is interested in developing/supporting the wiki community), I want to add a calendar of events/list of WikiProjects to the homepage of the wiki, so that people can find more opportunities to connect and collaborate on the wikis.
As an editor of a wiki (who is interested in joining events/connecting with others), I want to have many opportunities to learn about ways to connect and collaborate with others.
As an organizer of an event, I want my event to be promoted in many places across the wiki(s), so that more people can learn about and join my event.
Background:
Users can find the Collaboration List via Special:AllEvents. But some users may want to have a version of the Collaboration List on another wiki page, so that they can encourage people to easily discover events or WikiProjects that interest them. For this reason, we want to allow any wiki page to add a customized, miniature version of the Collaboration List.
General Acceptance Criteria:
This is based on decisions that have been reached, as discussed in T387794:
- Users should be able to transclude the Collaboration List onto a wiki page.
- The default will be the raw transcluded event lists.
- Users will set up the formatting themselves using wikitext.
- We will provide documentation on formatting using wikitext.
- There will be an 'Explore more events' link at the end of the event list linking to the full Collaboration List.
- When users visit the main Collaboration List via the transcluded Collaboration List, the filters in the transcluded list will also be applied.
