Testing the unified dashboard on test Wikipedia, when selecting an article to expand with a new section, the confirmation step shows the option to select a section. However, in the case of the desktop site, the step to compare contents before translation (T241589) is skipped. The user is directed to the editor after selecting a section:
For reference, the same process is shown on the mobile site where the step is shown. This is the expected behaviour:

The "Compare contents" step is now properly displayed on desktop, as demonstrated in the screencast below. I'm moving this task to "Design signoff" column.
