Thanks @RKumar_WMF for putting this up. Gravy currently requires donors to manually enter their billing address details before redirecting to the venmo screen. Similar to the paypal issue, we do not have this requirement on our direct connection flow. Both issues were reported in T380400
Gravy recently put in a new release (T385738) on the PayPal connection that removes the requirement of the billing address form. They were able to do this by ingesting the billing details returned after the donor authorised the payment on PayPal. We need this same fix for Gravy Venmo as well to make the experience through Gravy at per with our direct connection.
