I am proposing Cat-a-lot as a Google Summer of Code 2025 project (T386714 and more info). For this project, I would like to use Beta Commons as a platform where applicants can safely edit and test their user script versions and add/remove categories to files without risking incorrect file edits.

For this I would like to update the base version of the Cat-a-lot in the Beta Commons gadgets to the latest version used in Wikimedia Commons.

The task simply requires copying the following files from Wikimedia Commons to Beta Commons. While I can do this myself with the appropriate rights it is also welcome if somebody else does it.

It would be usable to get regular admin right for proceeding with the T389317 too.
