Wikipedia Library: Accessing Cambridge no longer works
Closed, ResolvedPublicBUG REPORT

Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

What happens?:
When logged into the WL on the Cambridge website, when trying to access most works it says "Get access". It says "Check access
Institutional login
We recognised you are associated with one or more institutions that don't have access to this content. If you should have access, please contact your librarian."

What should have happened instead?:

Should have been able to access the work

Software version (on Special:Version page; skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):

Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):

Example: https://www-cambridge-org.wikipedialibrary.idm.oclc.org/core/books/archaeology-and-oral-tradition-in-malawi/7588016649895DA4A10FC2CCC6B5E336
I was able to access this last week. It's the same for loads of other works. A user involved in the above discussion has the same outcome which indicates this is a wider WL issue. The same thing happened with Oxford Research Encyclopedias from October to January which was eventually fixed (https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T376816), like that I'd assume it's a problem on Cambridge's end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Alexanderkowal,

Thanks for reporting this. I have reached out to our contact at Cambridge University Press for help on this. I will update here as soon as we hear from them!

Thanks, hopefully they’re more responsive than Oxford

It works for me now too! I think it's been solved, thank you
