I think this is an upstream problem, related to T359884: Font modes: Add a "font-mode switcher" to the Codex docs with new 'configure' icon. It also seems to be the case for the "select duration" dropdown, and it was also noticed in code review for T386500: IP auto-reveal: Allow managing IP auto-reveal from sidebar tools menu.

Changing the font size to 16px in my inspector fixes the misalignment. Tagging Design-System-Team for visibility.

I think more accurately, the issue is likely T363845: [EPIC] Typography scale and font sizing. I can also reproduce and see it is fixed by setting the font size to 16px/1rem. I would recommend leaving this open until we ship T387778: [breaking change] Font modes: Introduce font modes to Codex.
