Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

• Connect to https://stream.wikimedia.org/v2/stream/recentchange and monitor the timestamps of the changes
• Wait

What happens?:
Eventually, the recentchanges feed starts replaying events from 1 week ago, and will continue doing so at a faster rate until it catches up with the current time.

What should have happened instead?:
Unless the client requests otherwise, EventStreams should not send events from the past.

This has been going on occasionally for a long time, but in the last week or so has started happening quite frequently. Restarting the EventStreams client sometimes helps and sometimes just starts over at the beginning again.
