Two issues with {{Korean script needed}}
Open, Needs TriagePublicBUG REPORT

Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • Load [[List of North Korean films]] with genfixes

What happens?:

  • The {{Korean script needed}} template is moved out of {{multiple issues}}, leaving only one template inside {{multiple issues}}
  • Reparse the article and only then does {{multiple issues}} disappear

What should have happened instead?:

  • Nothing. Since {{Korean script needed}} is a maintenance template with visible output, it should stay inside {{multiple issues}}.
  • However, if it was appropriate to move it out of {{multiple issues}}, then {{multiple issues}} should be removed without reparsing.

Event Timeline

@GoingBatty We'd previously established that MOS:ORDER has Level 9 for language maintenance templates. On MOS:ORDER that Level 9 links directly to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Language_maintenance_templates which {{Korean script needed}} is in.

But if you're saying that template has visible output so goes in {{multiple issues}} then it's Level 6 per MOS:ORDER.

So that's a contradiction. I don't understand. What do you think MOS:ORDER is telling us is correct in this case?
