What are the source and target languages you're using while observing this bug?

All I know is that I tried it on mobile and the target languages were French, Russian, Tagalog, and English

@ItsMeGabeProductions thanks for reporting this. Content Translation was originally created to support the translation of Wikipedia articles on desktop. More recently, cross-device support was added, and we used the opportunity to modernize the tool and support both expanding existing articles in addition to creating new ones.

We have been gradually enabling the unified dashboard (T386719) that provides support for working in both mobile and desktop platforms. As of now, starting a translation on mobile should work on French and on Tagalog Wikipedias, while it won't work yet for Russian and for English Wikipedias.

As the deployment process (T386719) gets completed, it should be possible to use the tool on both platforms for any language. I'll mark this task as a duplicate of the deployment process to keep both connected, but feel free to comment/adjust in any other way.
