Background
Following the release of the donate banner, we should remove the code for the previous experience which showed a link in the menu. While this code exists it is also possible to display both the banner and link which is not ideal.
User story
AS a developer I don't want to support unused code.
Requirements
- Decide whether logged in users should see the banner or an alternative donate link
- Decide what experience temporary accounts should have.
- Remove the code and feature flags relating to the old donate link code.
