It is expected that Cat-a-lot is compatible with Minerva skin (Wikimedia's mobile skin) and should be usable when using the mobile interface on a computer. However, it is unknown what works and what doesn't when it used with phone or tablet. It is reasonable to expect issues, but the extent of the problems and what needs to be fixed should be investigated.
The longer-term plan is to update from jQuery UI to Codex (see T389737) and improve the UI to be mobile-friendly. This review will support that effort as well.
What should be tested:
- is touchscreen input working in buttons, selections etc ?
- does virtual keyboard work?
- is it possible click buttons or are they too small, in impossible places etc
- does different views work ( Special:MediaSearch, Special:Search , Categories, Galleries , Special:NewFiles, Special:Contributions )
