Erich from Donor Relations flagged a concerning data integration issue related to ZD Ticket #1660034 / CID 1114877.
The recurring donation was canceled in Civi back in March 2024, but the cancellation was not performed in the FRU console. After the cancellation in Civi, subsequent donations continued to be processed in FRU but were not recorded in Civi. Only after the donation was correctly canceled in FRU did the missing donation history appear in Civi—backdated.
This raises concerns about data integration, particularly as we prepare to transition away from FRU. If donations don't appear as live in Civi, how will we ensure they are correctly migrated?
