Implement DOM-resilient selection state for Cat-a-lot to maintain selections during view changes and external DOM modifications

Steps to test
1 - Navigate to Special:Search
2 - Search for an item of choice
3 - Activate Cat-a-lot
4 - Select files by clicking in text description box
5 - Toggle between List and Grid view modes
6 - Your selection(s) should persist
