• ICWSM attendance: The work-in-progress paper on Crowdsourced Content Moderation in Wikipedia: A Preliminary Look at Article Maintenance Templates across Language Editions was accepted for presentation at the 1st international Workshop on Computational Approaches to Content Moderation and Platform Governance (COMPASS'25), in conjunction with the 2025 International AAAI Conference on Web and Social Media (ICWSM'25).
• Survey strategy brief: Sharing draft has been bumped to early next week due to prioritization of NPOV work.
• WWW attendance: WWW'25 was held in Sydney, Australia, between April 27th and May 2nd. On this edition the focus was on AI and LLMs. Also the importance of access to open and reliable data was highlighted. This event was good place to exchange ideas with other researchers and practitioners, also was useful for connecting with former, current and potentially new collaborators and research fund grantees. • WWW attendance (follow-up): The invitation to give a (online) talk at CSIRO has materialized. I'll coordinate with @Isaac and @KinneretG to decide how to proceed.

  • The COMPASS workshop program is finally online at https://sites.google.com/view/workshop-compass25/program.
