Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- Set math rendering mode to Client side MathJax or MathML modes.
- Enter <math>\textrm{fix}</math> in an article
What happens?:
First the correct output is briefly displayed. Then the output is replaced by Math input error
in red text on yellow.
The article is not included in any error tracking categories.
What should have happened instead?:
This is debatable \textrm is not listed in our supported syntax, there is \text and \mathrm. So either
- We support \textrm in all modes
- We don't support it in any mode and add the articles in Category:Articles with Math Errors.
