Hello DC Ops/IF,
I'm having a bear of a time getting cirrussearch2078 to reimage. Steps taken so far:
- Change the PXE boot device from onboard NIC to Broadcom NIC (the broadcom is the active NIC, so I think this is correct)
- Update BIOS, iDRAC, and NIC firmware to the latest versions provided by the firmware cookbook
- Update NIC firmware to the latest version available from Dell's website (Network_Firmware_J8X0M_WN64_23.21.6_01.EXE)
- Toggle UEFI and BIOS mode
- try TFTP or HTTP options for reimage
When I tcpdump from install2004, I only see DHCP traffic going one way:
10.193.0.1.67 > 208.80.153.105.67: UDP, length 278
22:07:54.599775 IP (tos 0xc0, ttl 62, id 43190, offset 0, flags [none], proto UDP (17), length 311)
10.193.0.1.67 > 208.80.153.105.67: UDP, length 283
^CHowever, I don't know enough about PXE to say if that's normal or not. Is anyone able to help out with this one?
Thanks in advance for your time. Ping me in IRC (inflatador) if you need more info.
