Nuking legacy IP edits should not treat them as temporary accounts
Closed, DuplicatePublicBUG REPORT

Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

What happens?:

It says I need to accept the agreement for temporary account access.

Once I do so and press the nuke button, it uses the deletion summary "Mass deletion of pages added by temporary accounts".

What should have happened instead?:

Since what I'm doing has nothing to do with temporary accounts, I shouldn't need to accept the agreement.

The edit summary should be "Mass deletion of pages added by <the legacy IP address>"

Software version (on Special:Version page; skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):

T390819: Using Nuke on an IP address on a wiki without temporary accounts results in an edit summary referencing temporary accounts mentions the same edit summary bug. Seems to be specific to metawiki, likely because temporary accounts are "known", but not enabled on that project.

The patch in T390819: Using Nuke on an IP address on a wiki without temporary accounts results in an edit summary referencing temporary accounts has already been merged and should be on next week's train. If this issue has not been resolved by next Friday, please let us know in the other ticket.
