What happens?:

You get "The source language of this group is English. Please select another language to translate into.", leaving you completely lost about how to make changes.

What should have happened instead?:

An error message explaining more clearly how to make changes to the /en page

Software version (on Special:Version page; skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):
