Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

What happens?:

"We couldn't make a citation for you". This is partially due to this diff https://tcy.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%E0%B2%9F%E0%B3%86%E0%B2%82%E0%B2%AA%E0%B3%8D%E0%B2%B2%E0%B3%87%E0%B2%9F%E0%B3%8D%3ACite_web&diff=97333&oldid=77958 where the documentation was commented out, meaning the template data does not get pulled through to the template. Additionally, the existing temple data lacks maps, which is also required for citoid to work.

@Trizek-WMF task I randomly encountered yesterday!

But as a result the feature has been broken since 2021 when it was enabled; so basically for the last 3 years we've been training people to *not* use it because it would only work if the citation was of a book which... most were not! web, journal, and news citations were all broken.

I'm wondering if we should write somewhere the feature is now fixed so people know they can use it now?

Also some sort of monitoring to check this doesn't go unnoticed for literal years would probably be good... but I'm not sure what the best technical solution for this would be.

@Mvolz I commented on the next steps on T127354: Help some smaller Wikipedias' communities by writing the TemplateData and enabling citoid for them. Let's focus on our toolbox first, with T394390: Create some simpler default templates for use with citoid, and then we will revisit all requests.
