In order to be able to get labels and other metadata, it would be useful to get the whole Z2 object (maybe without the Z2K2) given a ZID. One issue is, that if the input is a reference, it gets resolved to the object. So maybe the input should just be a string?

There might be some other tasks in a similar direction, and some other issues we already ran into, so it would be good to first assess what's going on before just implementing this.
