When option Donate to Wikipedia is selected then no warning message is
displayed to warn users that they are leaving this page to go to Wikipedia
Foundation page to make donation.

This needs better steps to reproduce. Which page (full URL) does this refer to?

I assume mpkhosla had started writing feedback, clicked the donation banner, and found his browser navigating away from the page he was writing feedback in (might have expected it to open in new tab/window)

I've just pushed a patch to ask for confirmation before navigating away if a user has started writing feedback, but has not yet submitted id.
