Allow Event Registration to support multiple wiki pages with a shared Participant List and Dashboard
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

Some wiki events or campaigns, such as the Wiki Loves series, have a multilingual or global dimension. In these cases, it is common for organizers to create event pages across several wikis, so participants can register from their own language/community wiki.

Currently, the Event Registration tool requires a separate participant list and dashboard for each wiki-specific event page, even when they all refer to the same campaign. This creates unnecessary duplication and management overhead for organizers. A real example is Wiki Loves Pride 2025, with Registration pages in Meta, enwiki or eswiki among others.

The organizer of WLP 2025, Vic Sfriso from Wikimedia LGBT+, suggested an improvement: the ability to have multiple Event Registration pages (across different wikis) all connect to a single shared participant list and a single dashboard. This would significantly simplify campaign management for multilingual or global events.

Thank you for creating this ticket, @IZapico-WMF! This request is related to the larger potential project to expand event registration so that it can accommodate larger WikiProjects/campaigns/event series, so that data can be tracked at an individual event level or a larger programmatic level. For this reason, I am adding this ticket as a subtask of T385342. Appreciate you taking the time to write this out!

I think there is a real chance that we may work on T385342 -- and, if we do, we will revisit this ticket.
