User stories:
As a member of the Campaigns team, I want to share a simple POC for tracking collaborative contributions with organizers and participants, so that I can gather early feedback and assess general usefulness of such a tool.
As an event organizer, I want to be able to track contribution data associated with my events on the wikis, so that I can easily share impact, celebrate successes, and identify gaps against my event goals.
As an event participant, I want to see what I did during an event and I want to see what other participants did as well, so that I can understand my individual and group impact.
Background:
We previously explored how tracking collaborative contributions can work in VE. This is the same work, but for the source editor. Ideally, both mobile and desktop versions should be considered.
Related work:
- Insights from interviews with organizers on how they track impact/tools they use (see 'tracking impact' tab)
- Project proposal for tracking collaborative contributions - this is the long-term vision of where this work can go, though we do not need to implement all of this/any of this for the first POC (which should be more basic)
- Alex H's design work that was the first big picture stab at how we may want to think about this project
- Gregory's design work that explored how we can display contribution date in the long-term - he was looking at putting this data in the Participants tab of EventDetails
- Offsite poster session feedback on early design concepts for this work
Acceptance Criteria:
- Given that a registered participant is on the wiki of the event during the date and time of the event, and if they are using the source editor, they should be able to associate the edit with the event
Visual examples:
In desktop view, there is already a dropdown for watching page - so maybe it goes there
In mobile view, edit summary is after the first publish button:
