Even though the internet connection is working fine, the edit patrol page seems to get stuck on a DNS resolution error and not proceed past it.
The retry button seems to do nothing.
Other apps can still access the internet.
Going back and trying edit patrol again makes the error go away.

Event Timeline

@Addshore Hmm that's super weird; I'm not seeing anything similar on my test devices. (I'm kind of inclined to think this is a duplicate of your other task T395888, or at least very closely related.)

Does this kind of issue occur in any other part of the app, or just when going to Edit Patrol?
What version of Android does your device have?

Pixel 9 pro, android 15
I can neither confirm or deny that it was also happening on my pixel 7 pro and android 14 I was using last week

Is there some way I can turn on verbose logging to a file? Or can I only really achieve this by connecting to my own build dev build of the app?

So, I still experience this, currently on 2.7.50536-beta-2025-06-18
I feel like some of the messages have changed or I. Just seeing it expose itself slightly differently.

After encountering this page, I opened a browser and loaded the site fine. Also pinged it from a terminal on my phone just fine.

A few weeks ago I also got this message (blanked out the IPS I feel like one of them might have been mine?)

In all of these cases, it's almost like the screen or activity that I'm in is remembering or caching this 1 bad lookup or lack of connection and not recovering from it until backing out and trying again?
