Description

Dear all,
I can't sign into my Wikipedia account. I get the following note:

"You need to verify your login. A verification code has been sent to your email address, please enter that code here."

I'm Shahid, username Shshshsh. I have been a user on WP for almost 20 years and contributed to numerous articles related to Indian cinema. 

For some reason, I'm required to enter a verificication code, but I haven't used my external email for a long time and I can't even remember it.

If you let me log in I can set up a new email and verify it.

Please help me sign in.

I have, but there's no response for quite some time already.
Why does it happen in the first place?
Now that I've created an alternative account (Shshshsh3), I don't get such notes and it logs in immediately.

This was resolved over email. Unfortunately we don't staff the email address on weekends.
