In T143553, we enabled DNS discovery for the Search endpoints. This makes it much easier to switch traffic between DCs, but it does affect our dashboards (for example, queries per second are shown as "dnsdisc" on this panel ). It's possible our monitoring queries are affected as well.

• Audit dashboards and determine which panels need to change
• Audit monitoring and figure out which alerts (if any) need to change
• Make the above changes and ensure they work correctly
