Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

• Install the Wikipedia Beta app (June 10, 2025 update).
• Add the “Article of the Day” widget to the home screen.
• Wait for the new day or attempt to refresh the widget by opening the app.

What happens?:
The widget does not update to reflect the new "Article of the Day" unless the user removes and re-adds the widget to the home screen. Even tapping the widget to open the app does not trigger a refresh.

What should have happened instead?:
The widget should automatically update to reflect the current day's article, or at minimum refresh when the app is opened via the widget.
