Add option to disable game sound and respect device "Do Not Disturb" settings
Closed, DeclinedPublicFeature

Description

Feature summary (what you would like to be able to do and where):
Allow users to mute the sound in the Wikipedia Trivia Game and ensure that the app respects system-wide "Do Not Disturb" settings.

Use case(s) (list the steps that you performed to discover that problem, and describe the actual underlying problem which you want to solve. Do not describe only a solution):
A user reported that the game currently plays sound even when their device is in "Do Not Disturb" mode, which can be disruptive. They also expressed a strong preference for sound to be off by default.

Benefits (why should this be implemented?):
Improves accessibility and user control, especially for those playing in quiet environments.

Prevents unexpected interruptions by respecting system sound preferences.

Reduces frustration and improves the overall experience for users sensitive to audio triggers.

The game already has an option to disable sound.

The system "Do not disturb" function is a global setting that individual apps do not need to respect explicitly.
When configuring "Do not disturb", the system still defaults to allowing sounds from "videos, games, and other media". If the user wants to disable these sounds, they can go into configuring their Do Not Disturb interruptions, and disable "Media sounds".
