Editing activity over last 60 days has the same problem sometimes: https://ru.wikiscan.org/user/Q-bit%20array

Thanks for filing this. Essentially, we need to do a similar update to what we did in T395215: UserInfoCard: Update articles count to show 1000+ if the count is 1000

Yes, it will definitely be better than now. But for me: why can't we get the actual count? Is there a big load on the calculation?

About the received thanks: I agree, 1000+ should be displayed. And, to avoid overloading User Info, the given thanks could be removed. (I don't understand the benefit of seeing the given thanks.)

About the editing activity: I agree with @Iniquity. But the problem is more serious here: even if the legend becomes "Editing activity over last 60 days (1000+ edits)" it will still be misleading: the reader can think the activity (the 1000+ edits) only occurred in the recent period. It is very misleading, for instance, for a user who made 200 edits per day for the last 60 days. So I think the legend should be "Editing activity over last 60 days (limited to 1000 recent edits)" or "Editing activity over last 60 days (showing only 1000 recent edits)" or "Editing activity over last 60 days (showing at most 1000 recent edits)".
