notification of already existing links
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: benedix

Description:
when I try to add a language, that is already in the list (but I can't find, because the list has no order) there should be a pop-up "a link to this language already exists", instead of preventing to enter that language in the "specify site"-textbox.

This should be done once the new UI is there, as this makes notifications simpler.

This can also be a fix independent of the exact layout, and then it can be done by an volunteer.

Table can now be sorted. No comment since my last question. Closing.

The behavior can be improved: instead of simply not letting to save in the language, either a message bubble should appear, or even the already existing value should be displayed. One way or the other, just because it is sorted and easier to find now, this is still not a really good UI workflow. If someone wants to improve this, it would be welcomed.

We will rework this part of the UI for the UI redesign. Not going to keep this open.
