[EPIC] WE 3.3.4 Reading List Feature design & development

Description

Background

Hypothesis text:

If we give logged-in readers the ability to save articles to a private reading list, we expect engagement on the site to increase, as measured by a 5% increase in internal referral traffic for readers who use the feature, and a statistically significant increase for all users.

This epic is a parent task for all feature development work for the Reading List on web experiment. This work encompasses any new UI work that needs to be done or business logic that needs to change for the initial version of Reading Lists on web.

TODO: Design mocks for the user flow for the initial version of this feature.


Requirements

Acceptance criteria

  • Users can add/remove an article to their default reading list, from the article page.
  • The UI for adding/removing reading list items meets the given design spec
  • Users can view all of their saved articles from the Special:ReadingList page.
  • Users can add/remove their saved articles from the Special:ReadingList page.
