There is no local consensus for this, only 2 user (one of them is Gadir himself) participated in the discussion.
The discussion is already open. Furthermore, since there are no objections, there is consensus. We have made many important decisions like this so far.
Unless azwiki has some specific meta-policy on quorums in local discussions I would call that link sufficient consensus. But whatever, not my decision, it's ultimately up to the deployer in a backport window to make that call.
Yes, that's true. As I said, we don't have such an application. We only made decisions about very important things with one or two votes. I've pinged active members and we can wait for their opinions. I think this request will be addressed in a few days.

In fact, our voting rules say that 50% +1 is sufficient, so this request is valid under that rule.
