This bug still happens. Search field simply doesn't become active.

Regression started in version 7.7.6, confirmed that it worked when checking out 7.7.5.

Estimates were all over the places on this one, let's just do more of a timebox. Eng who picks this up should check back in after 2 days if there's been no obvious fix.

Device: iPhone (iOS 18.6.2)
App version: WikipediaApp/7.8.0.5609

Issue:

In the Saved view, tapping the “Search saved articles” bar does not trigger the keyboard or place a cursor in the bar.

Prevents searching within Saved pages.

Reported that the issue has persisted for several weeks.

Notes:

The global article search bar works normally.

User confirmed they are on the latest iOS app version.
