Description

We need to set some things up so that in-progress work on the ImageBrowsing feature (in ReaderExperiments) can be staged (in patchdemo, beta, etc).

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Figure out how to stage reader experiments patches in patchdemo
  • Ensure that realistic content for articles can be included in patchdemo (mobile FE content provider)

Follow-up task: T400825 depends on T400921

Figure out how to stage reader experiments patches in patchdemo

  • https://patchdemo.wmcloud.org/ provides a link to a Phabricator template to add an extension to the list of repositories in Patch demo. I requested to add the ReaderExperiments extension to Patch demo in T400825
  • Documentation on how to add an extension to patchdemo is coming soon T400921 🎉

Ensure that realistic content for articles can be included in patchdemo

Enabling "Proxy articles from wikipedia.org" setting in Patch demo will pull in Wikipedia articles.
