Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

On iPad, navigate to a screen with links that can be long-pressed to reveal long-press menu (example: a link within an article)
Tap share

What happens?:
App crashes

What should have happened instead?:
Share menu should appear

Software version (on Special:Version page; skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):
Tested on 7.8.0 (5589) on iPad on iPadOS 18.5
Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):
This is not occurring on the iPhone so far

This is occurring on most of the long-press menus I tested. I sent some crash logs as well.

Testable in 7.8.0 (5609)
Note: the crash was fixed, but the share popover placement is off. Fixing that would be more time-consuming, so I'll create a new ticket for that.

Tested on iPad pro on iOS 26. Tested all the variations in the original ticket.
