As a member of the QS team, I should be able to understand what test automation covers for many reasons:
- I should not be testing previously-tested work unnecessarily
- I should be able to suggest new test automation scenarios for review
- I should be able to answer questions about test automation in use at WMF
This leads us to needing a one-time audit of test automation, documented on-wiki, to provide a starting place for understanding what is covered and the current status of these tests (how many are skipped, to begin). Additionally, as the manager of QS I need a better understanding of what's being covered by automation and what the previous struggles were in trying to automate a greater proportion of the Wiki.
The output of this will be a one-time report that will be hosted on Mediawiki and a number of research spikes into where we can do more test automation.
