Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • Pick some File on Commons.
  • Go to "Structured Data" and edit it.

What happens?:
We enter coordinates in A, Click Add (now blue) in B.
But C does not change.

What should have happened instead?:

We instead need to first hit Trash Can D, before entering A and hitting B.

Software version (on Special:Version page; skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):

Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):

By the way, "mark as prominent" is placed too close to the unrelated trash can.

Event Timeline

Jidanni updated the task description. (Show Details)

By the way, if one chooses Remove All,

Screenshot 2025-08-29 18.55.57.png (412×621 px, 38 KB)

there is no "Save your changes" button.
so Remove All will never work!

Aklapper renamed this task from Must first hit Trash can to make form work correctly to Correcting coordinates requires to first click the Delete button.Aug 29 2025, 12:11 PM

Here there is a red trash can:

But after hitting it, the "Publish Changes" button does not become blue:

There is no way to save our changes.

OK, now let's try adding a new coordinate pair, on

Well, we do get a blue Publish changes button. Alas, clicking it does nothing.
