I noticed that wikimediafoundation.org does not have an AAAA record and so does not support IPv6. Techblog (also hosted on WPVIP) does have an AAAA record, so hopefully that's a sign that the WPVIP infrastructure does support it and we could enable it on the Foundation site as well?

wikimediafoundation.org's A record is set in our zone files, while techblog is a CNAME to techblog-wikimedia-org.go-vip.net. That makes sense since we can't have a CNAME at the root, but we can surely add an AAAA record. No concerns from Traffic at least.

wikimediafoundation-org.go-vip.net has IPv6 address 2a04:fa87:fffd::c000:4280
Let me know if I can help with anything else!
