Mentioned by @daniel : https://codesearch.wmcloud.org/ does not respond.

The instance is codesearch9.codesearch.eqiad1.wikimedia.cloud. It should have:

a web frontend listening on port 3003 and publicly exposed as https://codesearch.wmcloud.org
a backend listening on port 3002 exposed as https://codesearch-backend.wmcloud.org

My guess one of the two process has an issue.

Both ssh and the VM console hangs, without giving any prompt. Forcing a VM restart.

It is restarting indeed and the web interface is reachable again. https://codesearch.wmcloud.org/_health/ has:

wmcs: starting up
