[Scraper] Frontend Optimization
Closed, ResolvedPublic3 Estimated Story Points

Description

As a user, I want to browse through a list of Wikibases to quickly identify relevant instances for me.

Context
The first iteration of the public frontend has been released. Some improvements are needed to provide better user experience.

AC

  • Title of the page is: Wikibase Ecosystem
  • Description under the title: An initiative by Wikimedia Deutschland to discover Wikibases in the ecosystem.
  • Logo is displayed in its original brand colors
  • Instances should be displayed in list view by default
  • List view contains:
    • domain as title
    • number of edits (30 days)
    • number of triples
  • List can be sorted ascendending and descendening by: number of triples, number of edits (default sorting: descending triples)
  • Modal view contains:
    • base url
    • sparql frontend url
    • number of items
    • number of properties
    • number of lexemes
    • number of edits in the last 30 days
    • time since last fetch
    • date of installation

Robert input - to be discussed:

  • info tooltips to explain what the values are and how they are gathered
  • add note how to remove wikibase to detail overlay (similar to the add overlay)
  • rename: "online since" to "install data" (as it is more accurate) part of T403466
  • instance type indicator (cloud / non-cloud) no cloud
  • if time allows add language and region to detail pages as well as to "add my wikibase"
