Out of my own personal interest, does this mean that the ArticleSummaries extension should also be archived (and undeployed from the Beta Cluster), or e.g. are there other uses planned for this MediaWiki extension?
(Apologies if this ticket is the wrong place to ask this!)

Probably, although we've got a team that will potentially be looking into a similar project (albeit with much more community involvement upfront). I can forward this question along to them, though!

@SToyofuku-WMF If you could then that'd be great :) My personal interest here is just trying to make sure that an abandoned extension for a concluded experiment (if ext:ArticleSummaries matches that description) doesn't inadvertently/unintentionally get left as a WMF/Beta Cluster-deployed extension if it shouldn't be.

(FWIW, the description of T395349 seems to suggest that maybe the original idea might've been to have the extension undeployed from prod&beta by the end of June 2025?)

@A_smart_kitten thank you for keeping us honest!! I checked with the team and heard no objections, so created T406924 - can't promise when we'll get a chance to work on it, but hopefully the ticket lays out what needs to be removed clearly enough that it's not too difficult 🤞
