We want to track the open rates of emails sent from CiviCRM to better understand and improve donor engagement, especially for recurring donors. This data will help us optimize future email communications to increase contributions.

Click tracking appeared to be a possibility in the email drafts, but according to the Civi Fortnightly notes: open rates are tracked via a tracking pixel, but this only works with CiviProxy, which isn’t yet set up for this use case.
