Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- Open https://mad.wiktionary.org and/or https://mad.wikipedia.org via mobile
- See current date in the top right corner is not 18 September 2025, but (as of today) 9 September (mad.wikipedia) or 16 September (mad.wikt)
- If I open in my PC, the date is correct (18 September).
What happens?:
Two days ago, one of the Madurese admin contacted me about the incorrect date in their mad.wikt homepage. I went and purge the wiktionary main page (twice) via mobile.
Today I found out the problem still persist in mobile, but not in desktop view. I think this is weird. (The code of the two main pages are similar, so I consider this one bug).
The code is: {{ucfirst:{{CURRENTDAYNAME}}}}, {{CURRENTDAY}} {{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTYEAR}} · {{LOCALTIME}}
I tested in mobile using FIrefox browser, logged in, and incognito mode (logged out). Both showing wrong date. I tested in desktop using Firefox browser, logged in.
The solution should not be the admin purging the main page everyday.
What should have happened instead?:
The magic words should display the correct date and time anytime without the need of (twice) manual purging in both website (and any other wiki that have the same problem).

Screenshot above was taken a couple minutes ago (today is 18 September 2025). The first word before the date is the local name for the day of the week ({{CURRENTDAYNAME}}).
For comparison, the date should be like the desktop version below:

and with a simple refresh F5 should display the correct time
