This tickets involves the work of enabling volunteers to identify edits in which someone declined to act on an Edit Check (e.g. Paste Check, Reference Check, Tone Check) in the midst of publishing it.
When the Editing Team first began work on Edit Check, edits in which someone declined to add a reference when Reference Check invited them to consider doing so were tagged. See mw:Edit check/Tags&oldid=6103723.
Although, in introducing the ability for multiple Edit Checks of the same or different types to be presented within a single edit session, the Editing Team removed this functionality. Reason being, the decline tags we had been applying lost their meaning because it was not possible to know which particular portions of a diff someone decided to decline acting on an Edit Check for.
Stories
As an experienced volunteer who is reviewing an edit, I'd value knowing all of the Edit Check(s) that were shown to someone in the midst of them publishing the edit I'm reviewing (along with information about how they responded to a given Check (act / decline to act)) so that I can decide what – if any – moderation actions to take in response with more context in mind.
