Hi all,

Italian Wikipedia has reached consensus to enable AutoModerator!

Thanks for filing this task and completing the necessary steps @Superpes15!

I suggest waiting to progress here until T400727: set AutoModeratorMultiLingualRevertRisk with available wikis is complete so that you can access the multilingual model, which is the model users tested after the October 2024 discussion. We're actively working on it at the moment; I'll post an update here when it's available!

Thanks, I'll notify the community! Do you currently have an ETA for the multilingual model, even an approximate one?

We need to clarify a technical thing, and then I need to write some communications to send out to wikis already using Automoderator to let them know about the upcoming change. I'd estimate that this should be deployed before the end of next month.

Thanks! I'm fine in waiting for the multilingual model, which should be more reliable! I notified the community, if they think differently I'll point it out :)

@Samwalton9-WMF @Kgraessle Are you planning to deploy this today too? Thanks!

@Superpes15
Sorry, no, this will be a separate deployment.

Per T400727#11401202, dropping this off our kanban for now - it will still be prioritised as soon as we're unblocked, I'm just reflecting reality that this isn't ready to do right now.

Kgraessle moved this task from Estimated to Kanban on the Moderator-Tools-Team board.

This will be unblocked once T419835 is merged.
